Choose the Right Intensive for You

Each intensive is uniquely designed to meet couples where they are—whether you're seeking reconnection, just beginning your therapy journey, or navigating a mindful separation. These sessions provide a space for real transformation, guided by a proven therapeutic framework and enriched with holistic practices.

Reignite Your Relationship and Awaken Intimacy

  • This intensive is ideal for couples who feel emotionally disconnected and are longing to reignite intimacy, passion, and presence in their relationship. Whether you're navigating the pressures of high-performance careers, parenthood, or unspoken emotional distance, this session is designed to help you reconnect from the inside out.

  • We begin by exploring the emotional and relational dynamics between you and your partner—what’s working, what’s not, and what may be getting in the way of deeper connection. This hour helps uncover emotional blocks and sets the intention for the rest of the session.

  • Each partner will have space to open up about their emotional needs and past relational wounds. Through guided conversation and emotional exploration, you’ll begin learning how to express vulnerability and truly listen to one another in a safe, supported environment.

  • Using a Ceremonial Cacao ritual, we invite you to transition from headspace to heartspace. This sacred experience is paired with movement and gentle touch exercises designed to rebuild trust and connection. The goal is to move from emotional understanding into embodied intimacy.

  • The intensive closes with a guided Sound Bath—a restorative and somatic experience led by a healing arts practitioner. This time allows your nervous system to integrate what’s been uncovered and anchor the shifts that have taken place, so you leave grounded and connected.

On-Ramping: A Jumpstart to Your Couples Therapy Journey

  • This session is crafted for couples new to therapy or those returning after a long break. It’s a structured, supportive way to lay a strong foundation for your healing journey and gain clarity on the emotional patterns playing out in your relationship.

  • We begin with a comprehensive exploration of the current challenges in your relationship. Together, we’ll identify recurring patterns and emotional cycles that may be keeping you stuck. This hour provides insight into how both partners contribute to and experience the relationship.

  • Partner 1 meets individually with Liliana to explore personal and family history. This is a time to unpack early relationship models, attachment styles, and emotional responses that may be showing up in your current dynamic.

  • Partner 2 receives the same opportunity to explore their own emotional blueprint, revealing how past experiences shape communication styles, conflict patterns, and emotional needs.

  • We’ll come back together to reflect and reconnect. This closing hour focuses on mapping your shared emotional landscape, identifying communication goals, and developing a tailored path for healing, growth, and forward momentum.

Conscious Uncoupling

  • This session is intended for couples who have made the difficult decision to end their relationship, but want to do so with compassion, clarity, and care. Whether you're separating after years together or ending a shorter relationship with mutual respect, this intensive provides a safe space to process, release, and move forward.

    In your session, we will:

  • Create space to honor the emotions both partners are holding—from sadness and anger to relief or fear.

  • Identify lingering tension or blame, and transform it into appreciation for what the relationship offered.

  • Work together to clarify expectations moving forward, including co-parenting, shared responsibilities, or communication standards.

  • Leave the session with tools for emotional closure and a respectful path forward that honors both your individual growth and shared history.

Why Choose an Intensive?

Deep Work in a Short Time

Unlike traditional weekly therapy, an intensive provides focused, distraction-free time to work through deep emotional challenges.

Rapid Breakthroughs & Healing

Experience transformative shifts in just a few hours—what might take months in traditional therapy.

Designed for Busy Couples

Ideal for those who don’t have time for weekly therapy but need a structured, expert-led approach.

Emotional & Physical Reconnection

Through guided exercises, therapeutic tools, and holistic practices, you’ll leave feeling closer, clearer, and more connected.

Benefits of Intensive Couples Therapy

  • Uninterrupted Focus: A structured, immersive experience allows couples to address challenges without the distractions of daily life.

No Distractions: With extended, focused sessions, progress that typically takes months can happen in just a weekend.

  • Spot Negative Patterns Quickly: Intensive therapy helps identify and address harmful cycles, miscommunication, and emotional blocks that might take weeks in traditional therapy.

Immediate Tools & Strategies: Leave the session with actionable techniques to improve communication, rebuild trust, and enhance emotional and physical intimacy.

  • No Weekly Appointments: A one-time deep dive eliminates the need for ongoing weekly sessions.

Results in Days, Not Months: Instead of waiting for gradual improvement, you’ll see meaningful progress in just one weekend.

  • Rekindling Intimacy: A safe, guided space to reconnect emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Vulnerability & Understanding: Couples feel safer expressing their needs, leading to deeper mutual appreciation and intimacy.

  • Tailored to Your Relationship: Unlike traditional therapy, intensives provide customized support designed around your unique relationship dynamics.

Focus on Both Partners: A balance of individual and joint sessions ensures each partner feels seen, heard, and valued.

  • Break Unhealthy Patterns: Learn new ways to communicate effectively and break free from destructive cycles.

Enhanced Listening & Empathy: Build emotional intelligence and strengthen your ability to listen, understand, and respond with care.

  • Relationship Renewal: By the end of the weekend, couples often feel clearer and more hopeful about their future together.

Take-Home Plan: You’ll leave with concrete steps to continue building your relationship long after the intensive ends.

  • Overcome Emotional Barriers: The immersive format allows for emotional breakthroughs that might take years in standard therapy.

Release Unresolved Pain: Address past wounds and move forward with a renewed sense of love and understanding.

  • Judgment-Free Environment: A dedicated therapeutic setting ensures both partners feel respected and heard without fear of blame or conflict.

Expert Guidance: Liliana facilitates difficult conversations, helping couples navigate tough topics with compassion and clarity rather than defensiveness or avoidance.

Who Might Not Be a Good Fit for a Weekend Couples Intensive

While couples intensives offer deep, focused support, they’re not ideal for every situation. To ensure the best outcomes, this format may not be appropriate if:

  • If your relationship involves physical, emotional, or verbal abuse, safety must come first. In these cases, individual therapy or other specialized support is a more appropriate starting point.

  • If you’re navigating a recent betrayal (such as infidelity) or a major life event (like the loss of a loved one), a slower, more stabilizing therapeutic process may be more supportive before diving into an intensive.

  • Couples intensives require vulnerability, effort, and a shared desire for growth. If either partner is unsure about staying in the relationship or not ready to do the work, a traditional therapy structure may be more helpful.

  • If one or both partners are currently facing untreated or overwhelming mental health concerns (such as depression, anxiety, or trauma), it’s important to first establish stability through individual therapy. Couples work is most effective when both partners are emotionally regulated.

  • While intensives can lead to significant breakthroughs, they are not a magic solution. Long-term growth still requires commitment after the session ends. If you’re expecting instant results without continued effort, this format may not meet your expectations.

  • Success depends on both partners being genuinely invested in the process. If one person feels forced into the session or is emotionally closed off, the intensive is unlikely to be productive or healing.
